This session is for anyone new to Running for Resilience, current volunteers, or anyone considering getting involved.
It’s designed to welcome you into the community and give you everything you need to feel confident stepping into a volunteer role.
As R4R has grown, it’s important that everyone is clear on how things run, what their role is, and how we support each other.
In this free session, we’ll cover:
• how our Wednesday nights and other events operate
• what your role looks like as a volunteer
• expectations, safety, and escalation pathways
This session is focused purely on volunteering.
A separate Mental Health Training session with the Medicare Mental Health Centre will be held on April 29 and will be open to all volunteers and the broader community.
No registration needed. Just come along and we’ll get you set up.
