Meeting Point

On Sunday at 3:00pm we meet at the Frankies at Forde.

People usually start arriving 10 to 15 minutes before the starting time for a stretch and chat.

If you're coming alone, get in touch and keep an eye out for one of our volunteers.

Run or Walk

As a group, we start every R4R by walking the first 200-500m. This is an opportunity to check in with ourselves and each other. After that, you can decide whether you walk or run, and how far.

Just aim to be back at the starting point in about 30 minutes.

Post-Exercise

After exercising we all meet back at Frankies at Forde for a drink and chat.

Safety

As our community grows, it is important that we continue to ensure the safety of ourselves and those using around us.

  1. Please bring a headlamp or flashlight during the winter months as some sections of the course are very dark.

  2. Keep left, ensuring that there is a clear path for people and cyclists heading in the position direction.

Our community is ever evolving. We are committed to learning and adapting to ensure that our events remain as safe as possible. If you have a safety concern or idea about how we can make Running for Resilience safer, please let us know.
